How a character comes together

Place. Formation. Calling. Bond. Burden. Purpose. Place is where the character comes from. Formation is the culture, faith, class and institutions that shaped them. Calling is the work or role through which the world knows them. Bond is who or what they are tied to. Burden is the obligation, wound, debt or trouble that follows them. Purpose is what they want now. The builder's steps gather these same answers.

A Calling is not a class

A Calling describes the kind of problems a character is practiced at handling under pressure. It never locks Strengths, Techniques, Fortera, equipment, or advancement.
