Mar de Oro Community Review
Mar de Oro is built through writing, play, revision, and disagreement.
The Community Review programme gives players, Game Masters, readers, and designers a structured way to examine the setting, test it at the table, and help strengthen future editions.
Read the setting. Question it. Play it. Tell us where the world holds and where it still needs reinforcement.

About the programme
The Community Review Edition is a curated, player-safe presentation of the Mar de Oro setting, prepared so that outside readers can examine it critically and use it at the table.
It is system-neutral. Nothing in the document commits your group to a specific ruleset. The optional 2d6 Resolution Bridge is provided so a group can play immediately without a separate rulebook.
This edition is a working document offered for public review. It is not a finished commercial release. Feedback shapes revisions, corrections, and future editions.

After you submit
Every submission is read. Feedback is grouped by chapter, theme, and severity, then evaluated against the setting’s canon, tone, and stated goals.
Corrections, clarifications, and structural revisions feed into future editions. Where useful, patterns from community review are summarised in published Review Notes so contributors can see how their feedback shaped the work.
Contributors are never obligated to accept every change, and Mar de Oro is never obligated to adopt every suggestion. Community feedback informs revisions but does not automatically determine canon. The website at mar-de-oro.com remains the current source of public canon; downloadable review editions are curated snapshots and may not include every later revision. The programme exists to make disagreement productive.
