Session Prep Builder

A simple companion for your next game night. Use it in two ways:

  1. Plan the session, sketch the opening hook, line up a handful of scenes, note the NPCs and clocks you want on the table.
  2. Run the session, keep this page open while you play. Tick clocks, jot notes on each scene, and log what the players changed. Everything saves as you type.

When you're done, print a one-page handout or download the full session as a PDF. Works offline in this browser, nothing is sent anywhere, and there's no sign-in.

Need people, ports, cargo, rumours or a complication on the spot? The Mar de Oro GM Tables generate them from the published d12 tables and naming pools.

Run at the table
  1. Open the builder on your table device, or import a saved .json from another device with the button above.
  2. Jump to Scenes. Expand the current scene, take notes, and log consequences as they land. Everything autosaves.
  3. Use Clocks to tick pressure live, add new clocks mid-session with New clock.
  4. After the session, open Handout & export for the full PDF or Markdown. State persists in this browser.

Continue a session

Nothing saved yet. Sessions live only in this browser.

It is a good idea to export the session as a JSON file and keep it as a backup. This allows the session to be restored if browser data is cleared or lost.

Mar de Oro GM Tools

This is the Game Master tool area for Tales of Mar de Oro: session preparation aids, pacing and consequence helpers, clocks, and reference generators you can use at the table. The tools themselves are system-neutral utilities, and they sit alongside campaign material written for the person behind the screen.

Campaign spoiler warning: the material past this point includes faction secrets, hidden truths, and the sequence of events behind the campaign. Reading it as a player will hollow out surprises the setting depends on.

Spoiler-free GM resources you can open without entering: Mar de Oro GM Tables and new Game Master onboarding.
